Too bad you have to pay 8.99 just to try it out.. the tutorial videos are not very informative, it’s basically the same filters you get in photoshop with blending and layers. Paid the 8.99 for the month, used one day and canceled. Lightworks apps are much more intuitive

(Edited 2 years ago in 2021) I do so love it when developers maintain some integrity and and don't gouge their loyal customers every year with another payment. Year after year we have to pay those who charge through the nose even though a lot of us just want to buy the app. What's that? You've joined the rest and are a subscription only app now‽ Why? We don't like you when you do that. October 8, 2023 Some 2 years ago a developer answered my review that there’s a purchase option. Is there? I don’t see it now. Do I need to get a 3 day trial and dig through the thing to find it? I guess I couldn’t find it the last time I tried it and gave up. Maybe it’s a good app with good effects and a UI that makes sense but if I can’t simply buy it I’ll pass it up again.

Good app has Potential but a lot of the filters are to overwhelming for the pictures I like the filters try to adjust but the filter or overlay for the picture taking over much more

It does one thing and it does it better than the alternatives. It gets out of your way and just makes it dead simple to create unique looking effects.

Most editing apps give you a few free templates to try to see if they fit your needs. I am not going to get trapped into paying to “try” to end up get out of my subscription if I dont like it. Not worth the hassle.

2022 Review: Just rediscovered this amazing app to create art from photos! So fun and it's amazing what creativity can be had just by a click of a button! Thank you for allowing in-app restoration of purchase (bought years ago). OLD review: With each update, app gets more amazing as more artistic effects are added (IAP's are worth it!) It's so simple to use and get just the artistic touch you like. Makes any bland, boring photo amazing. Highly recommend Trigraphy!

Clean, unique, quality

Just another bogus app that counts on you not to see that you will be charged automatically after the trial is over.

I’ve had this app for less than a full day and I am amazed by the variety of effects I can make to a starting photo. I love that each effect option has multiple ways to control the output and that layers can be added and controlled individually. I especially appreciate the built-in tutorials that help guide me towards different functions within the app. This is not a just a “slap it on and be done” filter app. (Although I achieved some fantastic effects doing just that before I realized how many changes I could make.) You have artistic control and can be proud of the finished result.

First time I get blown away by an App. I’m working on a music project and was looking for a good editing software and landed on this. Totally worth it and very user friendly.

Loving it. It’s transforming old photographs into new works of art.

I just took a look at the version history to see what my subscription would get me. I don’t mind paying a sub if I am getting something for that ongoing payment, but myriad small fixes is not what I would expect.

Love the possibilities of this app, but it crashes every time I upload an image. The little work I did was deleted and not saved. I Worked on the glitch this morning to see if I can fix it as I see great possibilities with the app. I fixed it by rebooting my iPhone. Yes! I was able to create one picture with multiple effects and layers just to see if it crashed and it did not. I was able to save too. I will continue to use it until my trail is over and purchase if all goes well. Great app!

Will keep learning new tricks.

I use multiple photo editing apps. The ones that I bought all have the option to use it first. I’m not going to buy an app that doesn’t allow me to see how it works according to my workflow.

The tutorials are not that informative

I downloaded a “free” app to try it. I can’t play with a single picture to see if I like the app without paying for it. Don’t fall for it. It’s bait and switch.

Not worth $8+/month

Do not waste your money! So pixelated you can’t see what the original photos were! Tried a couple different pics, same result!

I’ve really enjoyed using Trigraphy, and it’s got some wonderfully weird settings that are different than any of the dozen-or-so photo editing apps I use. When the developers upgrade to include the ability to scale the effects (something that would be relatively easy to do), this will be a must-have app. Lots of fun, but it could be even better. However, even the current version is a great step forward. Looking forward to seeing what changes.

I have this app and it’s not even letting me get out of the beginning that like I am just scrolling by every time it’s not letting me do anything and I’m really dumb. I love graphic designing with this stupid to ever get this app you should just go get a different thing. Kim is so much better than this app.

I signed up for the 24 hour free trial. I was unable to cancel and instead was charged twice, $4.99 and $7.99 which Apple will not give me the option to refund. Unless you like giving money to thieves and pickpockets, don’t download this app.

the free trial is 3 days, but you don’t get to choose which plan you’d want if you decide to subscribe. weird. it made me decide to just move on.

App is trying to take 34$ from my card when i chose 4$... Pretty ugly...

It should just tell you before you download it that there’s no way to try it without paying.

It’s unfortunate that there is no longer a free version, but I paid for the subscription and got access to the new filters and man, it creates the most beautiful abstract images; I can’t even describe the beauty of some of the things this app has produced. It’s extremely easy to navigate, and the filters require very little effort to create such a finished product. If you’re into the abstract, this is definitely the app for you, I shelled out the money and have no regrets.

It seems like all these apps think there so good that people will pay a subscription. I payed for this app and now they want me to pay again. I used it maybe 3 times and now I can’t even use it at all. Do I get my money back? I Do not support any subscription app. They have the option to pay 50 for life. Until next year they will change it again and make you keep paying. This is a scam do not support thes greedy people. If they wanted to make a better app they should have released a separate one for subscription. But they didn’t do that because the know people won’t subscribe if they have the option to use the original app. Apple should make these practices banned and make the developers refund are money.

Espectacular!

At first I was rather frustrated with this app, it takes some time to figure out how to use it and get worth while results. I still have trouble with portraits. I really what can be done with landscape photos. Far more interesting than the generic stuff most photo editing apps offer!

This app has many effects for editing and doesn’t take long to learn how to use features. No need to spend 30-hour figuring out how to use it..This makes it very convenient. I can take a photo and edit it ring then!!
